The Denim on Denim Trend: Love it or Leave it?

Oh yes it’s back! The trend has been pretty much everywhere this summer despite the fact that just looking at all this denim piled up makes me sweat.

The first time I saw a girl dressed up in all denim, it reminded me of this:

But I have seen more girls wearing this trend these days than guys. Maybe it’s just a matter of being fashionably aware or perhaps the trend has returned in a big way just for women. I personally prefer tops made out of very light fabric for summers but seeing denim on denim everywhere has really forced me to think.

Most denim shirts I’ve seen around have long sleeves but pairing these up with shorts may just do the trick. Furthermore, it can be another way of wearing blues this summer.

If you’re going to go for this trend make sure you add some major colorful accessories, great shoes and bags with all your denim. A belt does a great trick to break it up a little. Also there are various shades of blues that denim comes in so you have a lot to choose from!

So what to do think of this trend? Are you really going to go for it or just wear it around your waist this summer?
